Cream-colored charmeuse silk is first cut to shape, then hemmed, pressed and folded. It is then bound to a pipe with thread in the meticulous bias pattern developed by Britt. After rinsing and drying on the pole, it is unwrapped to reveal the textures. When worn, the weight of the silk, combined with the texture created by the wrapping, result in a sculptural wrap that can be worn in numerous ways. Notice how a standing collar is naturally created when wrapped around the neck. This is available in three sizes, with the demi size shown here. Measurements listed below are approximate, as pleats expand and change size. Store loosely rolled, and always dry clean, as water will remove the texture.
