Shibori Celadon and
Charcoal Bias Pleat 

Celadon-colored charmeuse silk is first cut to shape, then hemmed, pressed and folded. It is then bound to a pipe with thread and dyed with the charcoal-colored dye. After rinsing and drying on the pole, it is unwrapped to reveal the textures and colors. When worn, the weight of the silk, combined with the texture created by the wrapping, result in a sculptural wrap that can be worn in numerous ways. Notice the elegant flow created by the textures. This style is available in two sizes, with the demi size shown here. Measurements listed below are approximate, as pleats expand and change size. Store loosely rolled, and always dry clean, as water will remove the texture.
