Pamela Mummy 
Daphne

According to the ancient Greek legend, Daphne was transformed into a laurel bush in order to escape the amorous pursuit of Apollo. In this sculpture, Pamela has captured Daphne just as the laurel is beginning to envelop her. Made of a white sculpting clay, it measures approximately 20" tall x 9" wide. Hand-made copper leaves on copper "vines" encircle her. The base upon which she sits is made of granite.
