Passiko

Jewelry

Passiko brings a mastery of metalsmithng that began in 1978. Her current collection is characterized by simplicity of design and a unique elegance. This approach was inspired by a trip to Japan, along with eastern thought and practice.

Passiko uses an unusual approach with this line of jewelry. To achieve a goal of incorporate multiple textures, as well as both bright and oxidized surfaces, a cold connection method had to be used. You'll notice that rivets hold each of the layers together. This also allows for added dimension when one piece of silver is raised above the next by a separator. Surface texture is created using her own handmade plates and a rolling mill, or hand tools. Each piece of jewelry is created by Passiko herself in her studio in Indianola, Washington.

This collection of pendants and earrings was created exclusively for Manya Vee Selects.
