After many years devoted to a career, Linda Gaughran returned to her greatest joy: creating art. Jewelry has been a focus for the past few years, and two distinctive lines have emerged: 18th century Japanese woodblock prints and a fine silver line constructed of Precious Metal Clay.
Living on the Pacific Rim, one can't help but be exposed to various forms of Asian culture. As a child, Linda remembers certain aspects of this. As an adult, she became fascinated with some 18th century Japanese woodblock prints, and set out to find a way to turn them into pendants.
Linda makes each piece herself in her Seattle studio.
