Heidi VanderWerff

Heidi VanderWerff's glass career began with a stained glass business she began in 1988. In 2003, she realized she had maxed out her artistic potential in stained glass, and turned her eye to fusing glass. Completely self-taught, she purchased a kiln and started experimenting. Some internet research and a few books helped along the way.

Heidi loves the endless possibilities available by working with warm glass. It is flexible enough to manipulate when warm, which allows her artistic vision to flourish. 

Heidi creates each piece of art glass herself from her backyard studio in Bellingham, Washington.
